Overview

The Political Science degree at California State University Fullerton prepares students for law school, government employment on the local, state and national levels, foreign service, teaching, business, journalism, or leadership in civic and political activities.

For prelaw students, the department provides a series of law-related courses numbered in the 370 and 470 series (see course descriptions). There is a prelaw adviser and an active Prelaw Society which enables students to make close and direct contact with the work of attorneys, judges, etc.

Applicants to the MA in Political Science programme are required to submit the University application through Cal State Apply(this includes a statement of purpose).

The programme also requires the following documents be submitted through Cal State Apply: Writing sample (a 5-10 page paper from a political science or related socal science course)

Two to three academic letters of recommendation (these should be from professors who can speak to your ability to succeed in a masters programme)
