Bahria University (BU), is a Federally Chartered Public Sector University in Pakistan, which was established on 7th February 2000 through a Presidential Ordinance. It is a multi-campus institution of higher education, which is committed to attain the highest standards in teaching, learning and research, compatible with global requirements of practicing different professions.

It was really good. And I'm very satisfied with my studies.
A Transformative Journey
Studying at the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University shaped both my academic and professional direction. The program connects theory with practice in a meaningful way. Through my researches, I learned how to design research, analyze data, and defend my ideas with clarity. Faculty encouraged critical thinking and pushed us to move beyond memorization toward real understanding. Internships and mental health camps strengthened my clinical skills. I assessed stress, provided basic mental health first aid, and interacted with diverse communities. These experiences helped me apply psychological concepts in real settings rather than limiting them to classrooms. Seminars and professional discussions further expanded my perspective by exposing me to clinicians and researchers and helping me understand current challenges in mental health practice. Overall, my experience was rigorous and growth focused. I gained strong research skills, practical exposure, and clearer professional goals. The institute can improve by offering more structured support for undergraduate publication and broader specialized placements, but it provided a solid foundation that prepared me well for advanced study and professional work.
