Learning from industry professionals
I really enjoyed my time at Seattle Film Institute. Many of the professors are active professionals in the industry, which not only made the learning experience more practical but also opened up valuable networking opportunities.
The best choice
I wasn't sure which degree to study. Choosing Industrial Engineering in University of Alcalá de Henares was my best decision, it really surpassed my expectations and I am very happy with my choice, a one that I won't ever regret about. I enjoyed mostly all of the subjects which I found pretty interesting, even now I'm thinking of studying the master of Industrial Engineering in the same university as well.
Supportive low‑club college
It's a small school, so campus life is quite different from traditional universities. The instructors are incredibly supportive and flexible so that does make accelerated classes manageable. There are no clubs per se but we have on-campus residencies after most quarters end and that is a great way to have hands on practice and network and get to know people outside of your regular classes.
Student services
One of the best ways to learn is to get involved. That’s why the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is committed to offering you a full range of social, educational, and enrichment opportunities.
Housing services
Among our outstanding facilities are two cutting-edge science buildings; a four-story library and study center; a restaurant like dining facility with Northwest nouveau décor and made-to-order cuisine; one of the region’s finest small theatres; three coffee shops; five residence halls; and a gem of a gymnasium.
Library services
The SPU Library is a member of The Orbis Cascade Alliance of college and university libraries in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Students, faculty, and staff have access to more than 28 million items in the combined collections.
ICT services
We offer help services accessible via phone, Internet, email, or in person. HelpDesk staff provides support to SPU faculty, staff, and students for technology resources such as SPU online services, email accounts, campus printing, connecting from home to the SPU resources, use of classroom technology, the campus network, and SPU-owned computer equipment.
Medical services
Our mission is to empower individuals to take responsibility for their health and to complement the academic mission by providing health services that are accessible and result in a healthy campus environment. Services include evaluating, treating, maintaining and promoting optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health for students, staff, and faculty.
Campus life
Located in a quiet north Queen Anne residential neighborhood, Seattle Pacific University’s 40-acre campus borders the Lake Washington Ship Canal and boasts majestic trees, open lawns, beautiful gardens, and views of the Cascade mountains.
Sports facilities
Seattle Pacific University athletics provides an arena wherein student-athletes are guided toward excellence in physical performance and leadership through the integration of Christian principles and values while participating in intercollegiate sport at the highest possible level. In so doing, Falcons Athletics, by its nature, builds a sense of community and fosters pride in the University and creates a window through which the world may witness.
Student clubs
Clubs are a great way to get involved on campus by meeting with other students who share common interests. This year, Seattle Pacific University has over 60 clubs! There are a plethora of exciting opportunities through ASSP clubs: leadership, volunteering, arts, philanthropy, and much more!
Accreditation
The history of the growth of Seattle Pacific University is linked to the educational community of which it is a part. In successive steps from 1921 to 1937, the University was accredited by the Washington State Board of Education. Since 1936, the University has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
