Overview

The Architecture from Leeds Beckett University offers highly experimental design approaches to architecture and urban design and has two pathways to choose from: MA Architecture Speculative Futures and MA Architecture Future Cities.

As part of this course, you’ll:

• Conduct practice-based and design-led research
• Re-imagine new modes of production in architecture, urban design and planning
• Combine insights from architecture, urban design, ecology, and emerging technologies to respond to complex global issues using innovative interdisciplinary methods
• Explore speculative and environmentally responsive design to enhance your future design practice
• Create innovative methodologies by using cutting-edge digital technologies
• Address current and future challenges through forward-thinking, sustainable, and visionary urban and architectural solutions
• Reflect on urban and architectural phenomena while investigating relevant theories, histories, cultures and societies
