General requirements

In addition to satisfying the Graduate School application and admission requirements, you must show proof of:

Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or allied health-related field
Prerequisite undergraduate coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, nutrition, and exercise physiology
Current First Aid and BLS CPR certification
Completion of 75 hours of observation under a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
At least one letter of reference required by the Graduate School should be from a certified athletic trainer (AT) who has supervised your observation hours.
