The Languages and Cultures of the Nordic and Baltic Sea Region programme from Vilnius University will explore socio-cultural developments that have shaped Eastern, Central and Northern Europe, engaging with cutting-edge topics such as migration and place, posthumanism and digital spaces, gender and family, and much more besides.

General requirements
- Proficiency in the language of the chosen specialisation (Danish/Norwegian/Swedish/Swedish/Finnish/German/Polish/Latvian/Russian) at least at B1 level according to the CEFR.
- English language proficiency (at least B2 level according to the CEFR), as demonstrated by passing one of the international examinations: - IELTS score: 5,5+, - TOEFL score: 46+ (iBT Internet-based test) - Cambridge English exam: 160+, - Pearson PTE Academic: 59+, - LanguageCert IESOL B2, - Duolingo English Test: 95+ Or other proof of English language proficiency at B2 level according to the CEFR.
In addition, all applicants have to fulfil the general admission requirements.
- University Bachelor's degree certificate and its supplement (or it's equivalent).
- The applicant is required to submit a motivation letter (1200-4000 characters).
- The copy of your passport or ID card must be certified.
