To raise highly skilled students with master’s degree who are able to apply modern scientific methods in the field of phytotherapy and biological sciences with an interdisciplinary approach.

Objective:

The main objective of this Phytotheraphy program from Yeditepe University is to provide the ability to evaluate the the major role of plants in human health according to scientific data. Graduates are aimed to possess the features below:

To evaluate the bioavailability, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of plant constituents,
To appraise the use of plant products in both prophylaxis and treatment of diseases, their modes of action, doses and dosage forms together with their risk assessment.
To solve problems using analytical tools and scientific data and literature

Qualification: Subsequent to graduation, the graduates are entitled to receive master’s degree in the field of Phytotherapy.

Undergraduates of Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary and departments of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics and Physiotherapy of Faculty of Health Sciences may apply.

Original copy of Bachelor's degree diploma

National identity card (both sides) or passport.
Transcript.
Foreign Language Exam results certificate (obtained within the last five years; at least 55 points from the YDS or YÖKDİL exams or at least 66 points from the TOEFL IBT).
When applying to Master's programs, Yeditepe graduates and those who have graduated from programs taught entirely in English are exempt from the language proficiency requirement.
