Over the past two decades, the event industry has undergone a period of strong growth: as the industry has matured, the need for a specialized, skilled workforce has become increasingly pronounced.

The Event Management MSc program offered at New York University provides the business and organizational skills and builds the planning and event marketing abilities needed to envision, produce, manage, and promote events across industries and around the world.

Internships and Job Opportunities

Through the Tisch Center of Hospitality and the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development at NYU SPS, event management students have the opportunity to complete a wide range of event management internships that provide the hands-on experience needed to accelerate their careers. Many of these internships evolve into permanent jobs. Our graduates go on to careers at sports venues, convention planning bureaus, nonprofit organizations, event management companies, and corporate event departments including:
