The History program offered by The University of the West Indies is designed flr students interested in research methodology and information management.
Graduates with M.A. in History from The University of the West Indies will gain:

General requirements
All candidates should hold at least a Second Class Honours degree in History or any other qualifications approved by the Department.
- Candidates must be suitably recommended by their teachers/lecturers.
- All graduate students should have a modern foreign language competence. Those who did not take either S01B (Basic course in Spanish) or F01B (Basic course in French) as undergraduates, will be expected to register for one of those courses as a co-requisite.
- Students are required to present papers at the Staff/Graduate Seminar.
