Overview
At the Nanochemistry and Entrepreneurship programme offered by Vilnius University you will learn to design and investigate nanomaterials, apply chemical and technological knowledge to the development of innovative products, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. The programme is delivered in collaboration with the VU Business School.
Career
Nanochemistry studies open the door to the world of high technologies, where new materials, processes, and future innovations are created. Upon graduation, you will be able to work as an expert in modern companies and research centres, developing solutions that will transform industry and everyday life.
Nanomaterials are widely used in medicine, electronics, energy, and environmental innovation. You may work with advanced polymers and composites, nanoparticles for drug delivery, sustainable energy technologies, environmental projects, or in quality-control and research functions.
If you aspire to an academic career, you may pursue doctoral studies and develop new technologies in universities, research institutes, or corporate R&D departments, contributing to the creation of new nanomaterials, product design, and industrial applications.
Knowledge in natural sciences and technology is also highly valued in the public sector, including innovation agencies, ministries, science and technology parks, and educational institutions, where analytical thinking, data evaluation skills, and contributions to national progress are essential.
