Description
This The Vice Chancellor’s Postgraduate International Excellence Award is designed to support outstanding applicants with a minimum UK 2:1 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, empowering you to advance your education at Brunel University of London.
Benefits
The Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Award offers £6,000 tuition fee reduction applied each year for a maximum of one year for full time courses and two years for full-time courses running over two years, (for example, if you enrol on to a two-year full time postgraduate taught program or MRes, the fee reduction will apply to both years of study). The awards will be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (additional payments will not be made during a repeating year, regardless of the reason for repetition).
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must have an offer to study on a full time postgraduate taught or MRes programme starting in September 2026 or January 2027 of the 2026/27 academic year.
- Applicants must have a minimum UK 2:1 and above or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification.
- Must be classed as an Overseas feepaying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). This includes applicants from the EU who are required to pay overseas fees. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website.
- All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.
- Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by the advisory deadline stated above in order to secure their fee reduction.
- Applicants who defer their entry from September 2026 to January 2027 (2026/27 academic year), will retain the award.
