VIT University is one of the best Universities in India for the life sciences department. There is a lot of opportunity available for your growth at VIT. You can easily gain experience and can get other benefits from the university. The only drawback is if you are enrolled in a 5 year course, you should take 3+2 programme or try to go abroad for your thesis or internships.

This university is highly overrated. It is overcrowded which gives unnecessary pressure to the student to try and perform well. As a result, there are hundreds of students who end up failing in more than one subject every semester. Also, the location is very remote so you wouldn't have a good campus life too. Academics wise, the faculty are not up to par for teaching...
