Teaching and Learning
Teaching and Learning is the study of ancient cultures; their art, literature, thought and history. The focus of Classics is the ancient Mediterranean – Greece, Rome, Egypt and the Near East – but our courses also include modules on ancient Africa, India and China. The Classics program of Rhodes University is designed to stimulate, inform, and encourage reflection.

Political and International Relations
The Political and International Relations program at Rhodes University offers courses from across the spectrum of political studies, while the postgraduate program allows students to critically engage with a number of topics.
Law
The Faculty of Law offers the Law program of Rhodes University by thesis only. Normally, only candidates who have obtained an average of 65% or above in the final year of their LLB study will be admitted to the LLM.
