Ancient and modern world languages will be introduced and their origins, influence and effects investigated.
Viking and Medieval Norse Studies
The Viking and Medieval Norse Studies programme at University of Iceland aims to provide thorough training in Old Norse language, literature, and history, as well as helping to develop the skills necessary to work with primary sources such as medieval Norse manuscripts, runic inscriptions, and other artifacts.
