The History program from Rhode Island College develops advanced skills for deeper study or career achievement. The students choose from a thesis or seminar plan, both of which involve independent research from a variety of theoretical, investigative and pedagogical approaches and the widest possible range of historical writing.

The History programme at the University of Rhode Island is a flexible postgraduate degree designed for deep historical enquiry. This M.A. course offers full-time study over two years or a part-time route across four years. Students engage in cross-disciplinary research at the Kingston Campus to enhance their expertise.
