History
The mission of the History program from the University of Nebraska Omaha is to develop in students an understanding both of history itself and of history as a profession. In so doing, students will move beyond thinking of history as simply a series of events.

University of Utah’s Department of History offers courses of graduate study leadingto the PhD, MA, and MS degrees. The MA is a prerequisite for the PhD program in ourdepartment. There are approximately sixty students in the graduate program and we admit about fifteen new students per year.
