Aquaculture and Fisheries
The Master in Aquaculture and Fisheries at University of Algarve has two specializations: one in Aquaculture and another in Fisheries. In addition to the predominant areas of the Aquaculture and Fisheries Sciences course, other important areas are Environmental Sciences and Biological Sciences.

Applied Biology
This cycle of studies is in accordance with the guidelines of the European Education model, as agreed in Bologna. In order to obtain the title of Master of Applied Biology from University of Madeira, candidates must obtain 120 ECTS, which to full-time students corresponds to 4 semesters (2 academic years).
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
