Food Technology
The Food Technology programme from University of Algarve aims to provide a general understanding of food properties and production, and knowledge in technologies involved in the production of safe and healthy food that qualifies the recipient not only to analyse and control, but also to design, innovate and develop food production systems and food products.
Food Engineering
The Food Engineering current cycle of studies at Catholic University of Portugal encompasses a lecturing component, a project unit and a placement/thesis. The latter can include a dissertation of scientific nature or an industrial placement subject to a final report, providing they are original and specifically conceived towards that aim.
Food Technology and Safety
The Master in Food Technology and Safety from Universidade Nova de Lisboa aims to prepare professionals to act in the fields of: Quality of the food value of raw and processed products; Production processes on food industries; Control of food quality and safety in agro-food industries.
Food Science and Technology
The Food Science and Technology programme was created jointly by the University of Minho (UMinho), through the Department of Biological Engineering School of Engineering (DEB-EEUM) and the University of Porto (UP), through the Faculty of Sciences (FC-UP).
