Latin and Classical Humanities
Our innovative approaches to teaching Latin put the department at UMass Boston in the vanguard of Latin teacher training. We are pleased to offer three tracks within the Masters in Latin and Classical Humanities at University of Massachusetts Boston.
Classics
The M.A. in Classics from Boston College requires ten courses in Greek and Latin at the graduate level, completion of an independent reading list, demonstration of proficiency in a modern foreign language, usually French or German, and comprehensive written and oral examinations.
Ancient Greek & Roman Studies
Brandeis University's unique two-track classical studies master's Ancient Greek & Roman Studies program at Brandeis University offers the opportunity to learn about all aspects of life in Greece and Rome, investigating the ancient classical world both in the domain of one country (such as Greece and Italy) and more regionally (such as the Mediterranean as a whole).
Classical Studies
