Description
Die Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) bietet Kurzstipendien für junge Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftler für circa zwei Monate in allen Fachrichtungen zur Durchführung von Forschungsaufenthalten an staatlichen japanischen Universitäten und ausgewählten Forschungsinstituten an. Bestandteil dieses Programms ist ein einwöchiger intensiver Einführungskurs in die japanische Sprach-, Kultur- und Wissenschaftspolitik.
Eligibility
Post-Doktoranden müssen ihre Promotion spätestens zum 1. April abgeschlossen haben, Doktoranden müssen zum Zeitpunkt der Antragstellung einen deutschen Hochschulabschluss nachweisen. Bachelorabsolventen müssen in einem Masterprogramm eingeschrieben sein. Darüber hinaus wird von den Bewerbern ein Kontaktnachweis zum Gastinstitut erwartet. Japanische Sprachkenntnisse werden nicht vorausgesetzt, allerdings sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
