  • Internship

Description

It offers unique opportunities for undergraduate students to work with research groups at universities and top research institutions across Germany. RISE interns are matched with doctoral students whom they assist and who serve as their mentors. The working language will be English.

RISE placements provide students the opportunity to live and work in an international context, to strengthen their practical and theoretical skills, and to improve their (or begin learning!) German. Last but not least, the research internship should be a source of mutual cultural enrichment for both the interns and their hosts.

Learning From Each Other

Beyond playing matchmaker for undergraduate research assistants and doctoral students, DAAD also invites all fellows to a three-day event during the summer where they have the opportunity to learn from each others experiences while exploring a historic city and a modern German multinational corporation.

Eligibility

Duration

For a period of 2 to 3 months during the summer.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information
