Description
Government scholarship programme offered together with the Fundación Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (FUNDAYACUCHO).
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be Venezuelan citizens
- At least a first degree is expected
- Excellent academic achievements
- Age limit: as a rule 38 years, no age limit for post-docs
- Social engagement
Duration
Up to two years for Master studies, up to three years for doctoral studies. Scholarships are awarded by the DAAD for one year at a time. Applications for extensions will be reviewed by the DAAD selection committee.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information
Benefits
Funding of FUNDAYACUCHO:
- Tuition fees at universities
- Monthly scholarship payment: 1.250.- euros as fully paid grant
Funding of DAAD:
- A preparatory language course in Germany
- Health, Accident, and Personal Liability Insurance
- For studies and research an annual grant of 460.- euros for the first till third year
- Flat-rate travel allowance for a return ticket
- A language course for spouse in Germany
