Application information

The selection process is general, without quotas reserved for particular countries. Priority is given to candidates from francophone developing countries where CNRS has signed a cooperative agreement and has established joint research projects.

Recipients of this fellowship will be hosted at an institution affiliated with CNRS (in CNRS-only or associated labs). Priority will be given to institutions which have developed research programs with research teams from developing countries in the ZSP.

PhD students can be supervized by a joint team of professors: French professors and professors from their native country (joint supervision). They can, depending on their research topic, carry out work both in France and in their native country. The professional goals of the applicants in their native country are taken into account during the selection process.
