Additional information

  • Applicants working in Austria and receiving salaries from Austrian universities and/or European research institutions or research councils should clearly state their financial circumstances. Support for such applicants will normally be based on the additional expenditure incurred in holding the Research Fellowship.
  • An important aspect of this scheme is to encourage women to enter research careers in mathematics or mathematical physics, and part of the funding of the programme is specifically earmarked for this purpose. Qualified women candidates are therefore particularly invited to apply.
