Description
Brainpower austria offers different career and contact related grants to registered researchers living abroad and interested in a research career in Austria.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Benefits
- Interview Grants: Research and development professionals from abroad can apply for an Interview Grant covering 80 per cent of the traveling expenses to Austria regarding a job interview.
- Relocation Grants: A Relocation Grant of up to 1,000 Euros can be paid to researcher and development professionals who move to Austria. (Please note that this offer is only available for users living and working abroad who already made use of an Interview Grant to find a job in Austria).
- Speaker Grants: brainpower austria supports the active participation (as speaker, chair person, ...) at scientific events in Austria. This grant is a maximum amount depending on the travel distance.
- Travel Grants: To promote participation in brainpower austria events in Austria and abroad, we are offering travel grants. Travel grants for events in Austria are open to researchers living and working abroad, whereas travel grants for participation in the Austrian Science Talks in the US are open to people only who live and work in North America. This sort of grant is a maximum amount of money, which can be used for traveling to events and staying overnight.
