Description
Grant of the VSW Kärnten for Study and Research Stays in Non-German Speaking Regions.
Eligibility
- Austrian citizens having their regular residence in Kärnten.
- Age limit 30
- Recommendation of to professors of the respective research area
- A considerable amount of personal funds used for the realisation of the project.
- Intention of pursuing a professional career in the Austrian industry and of maintaining a close contact with the Industrial Federation in the future.
- The results of the exchange experience should benefit the industry and the businesses of Carinthia.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information
Application information
- CV.
- Copies of diploma certificates and final PhD-exams.
- Written evidence of proficiency in the language of the exchange country or working environment (certificates, confirmations of participation, documents certifying long-term stays in non-German speaking countries/regions).
- At least two letters of recommendation of professors of the respective research area.
- Letter of admission to the exchange university. In case this letter has not been received by the time of the application deadline, copies of the correspondence between the applicant and the university have to be submitted.
- A financial plan for the realisation of the stay abroad.
Additional information
- The chosen candidates are required to submit a short report and copies of the grade transcripts to the Verband Selbständig Wirtschaftstreibender (VSW) Kärnten after each semester. In case of non-compliance the grant is cancelled.
