Description
The "Mondi Austria Privatstiftung" is an independent and non-profit private foundation financed by the Mondi Group, which promotes and provides financial support to young students in their studies through the "Austria Student Scholarship".
Eligibility
- Are not older than 23 upon the expiry of the application deadline.
- Basic knowledge of the German language (or willing to attend German courses).
- Good knowledge of English.
Duration
Semester or one-year grant. Support for up to 4 years, or for the minimum duration of the respective studies.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Benefits
- Monthly grant of EUR 1,000 (up to EUR 12.000 per academic year).
- Travel costs up to EUR 1,000 per year.

The following application documents are necessary to be taken into consideration for an Austrian Student Scholarship:
- Application letter
- Resume (including passport photo)
- Copies of transcripts
- Personal letter of motivation (Why you think you are the right candidate for the "Austrian Student Scholarship?")
- Precise description of the objective of your studies (including curriculum, timeline and a description of the envisaged degree)
- Two letters of recommendation from professors/teachers or employers
- The application documents have to be sent in English or German
