In recognition of the ministry of Bishop Johann Weber of Styria and the neighboring countries was established during his 25- year-old bishop anniversary in November 1994 , a foundation which will enable study of young people from former communist countries. This makes it a practical contribution to overcoming the 40 years of total isolation of the intellectual and social life in these countries.
