Description

Objective

  • Master or Doctorate in Germany

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduates with `pregrado´-degree
  • University degree: Doctoral candidates must hold the Maestría
  • Excellent academic achievements
  • Age limit: 36, exceptions up to 50 years are possible

Duration

Master: up to two years, Doctorate: up to four years. Each scholarship is awarded by the DAAD and COLFUTURO for one year. Applications for extensions are reviewed by the DAAD selection committee.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information

Benefits

  • Loan/part-cost scholarship for a maximum of 2 years up to the maximum amount which has been decided by COLFUTURO
  • Costs for health and private/personal liability insurance paid by the DAAD.
  • Part-cost scholarship for Master studies of 100.- euros per month.
  • Part-cost scholarship for doctoral candidates of 500.- euros per month for the 3rd and 4th year.
  • Preparatory language course in Germany, financed by the DAAD.
  • Flat-rate travel allowance for a return ticket, according to the rules of the DAAD.
  • Part-cost scholarship for studies and research of 460.- euros per year for the first till third year.
  • Language course for the spouse, according to the rules of the DAAD.
