Description
This scholarship is provided for studies at the "Cyprus International Institute Of Management" (CIIM). As a specialised management program, the MPSM curriculum is intellectually challenging. It is designed to provide students with not only a broad-based grasp of business, management and communication knowledge; but also offers unique insights, and abilities that our students the flexibility to achieve success in a wide range of public or semi-governmental sectors and industries in any country in the world.
Specifically, the main objectives of the MPSM programme are to:
- Equip graduates with the essential skills that help organisations run better.
- To develop a firm understanding of key concepts relating to public sector management reform
- To develop financial, budgeting and human resource management tools, in the context both of public and public-private service delivery mechanisms
- To develop the communications and personal development skills that transform managers into leaders
- To develop the capacity for innovation and creativity in problem-solving
Eligibility
Eligible candidates to apply for the scholarships to study at the CIIM Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM) programmes are citizens of Azerbaijan, Gambia, Sudan and Uzbekistan.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Application information
In order to submit an application for scholarship, the applicant must fill-in the relevant application form for the respective University programme.
The applicant may then submit his/her application along with the endorsement form at a Competent Consular Authority of the Republic of Cyprus of their choice, not later than the deadline shown above for each University.
In order to expedite the process, it is strongly recommended that the applicant forwards a copy of the application form and a copy of the duly completed and stamped endorsement form to the Academic Institute organizing the program, as soon as he/she attains these documents. The originals should be submitted or sent to the Competent Consular Authority of the Republic of Cyprus, before the deadline (as instructed above). Special provisions for Pakistani and Armenian applicants:
- It is noted that the application forms of Pakistani applicants will be short listed by the Higher Education Commission and subsequently endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in Islamabad. This means that the first point of contact for Pakistani applicants is the Higher Education Commission.
- Candidates from Armenia should obtain an endorsement of their application through the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia.
Important notes concerning the award of scholarships:
- Candidates who have received a scholarship of either short or long duration by the Republic of Cyprus within the last two (2) years 2009 or 2010 are NOT eligible to apply for these scholarships.
- Eligible candidates must be permanent residents of their country of citizenship.
- All scholarships are offered officially by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus to other Governments on a bilateral basis as official technical assistance and not to individuals. Therefore, it is expected that with the end of the scholarship, the scholarship recipients will return to their country of citizenship so that the recipient country is benefited to the highest possible degree by the transfer of know-how and not just the individual receiving the scholarshsip.
- For the scholarship to be awarded it is necessary for the candidate to accept the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship.
