Description

The David Herzog Fund awards scholarships to:

  • Jewish students wishing to study at one of the Styrian universities (Karl-Franzens-University Graz, Graz University of Technology, University of Music and Dramatic Arts Graz, Medical University Graz, Montanuniversität Leoben) or research institute on Jewish Studies for usually one semester.
  • Austrian students wishing to study at a university in Israel or another research institute focussing on Jewish Studies for usually one semester.
  • Students or researchers based at universities or research institutes promoting transnational activities in the framework of international academic mobility focussing on Jewish Studies.

The aim of David Herzog Fund awards is to promote intercultural understanding and learning, specially with regard to the Jewish culture.

Duration

Usually one semester

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information

Benefits

The scholarships consits of travel expenses (after consultation with David Herzog Fund) and a maximum monthly sum of EURO 650,- for students and EURO 800,-- for graduates.
