Description

The programme aims to support students, doctoral students and postdoctoral students from the field of engineering who are enrolled at an Argentinian national university by funding study or research stays in Germany.

Duration

6 months for students from engineering subject areas; 2 to 6 months for short stays by doctoral students; 12 to 24 months for research stays completed within the scope of a doctoral/PhD programme in Argentina; 12 months for research stays by postdoctoral students

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test. More information

Benefits

Payments by the Argentinian Education Ministry:

  • Monthly scholarship of 500.- euros

Payments by the DAAD:

  • Monthly supplementary scholarship of 150.- euros for students or 500.- euros for doctoral students and postdoctoral students
  • Health, accident and personal liability insurance
  • Flat-rate travel allowance
  • Support for spouses or child(ren) plus, possibly, a rent subsidy in accordance with the DAAD guidelines
