The University of Trento is a young, medium-sized institution in a human-scale city that offers an excellent quality of life.
The University of Trento, which has always aimed at reaching and keeping high quality standards, has been able to create over the years a solid policy basis, aimed at delivering high quality services to its students and community. The result is a wide range of excellent courses, supported by a high-level scientific research which in some areas achieved important confirmations at an international level.
A strength of the University of Trento is its outstanding international character: testifying to this are the many cooperation projects with foreign universities which open up many opportunities to study and work abroad, the community of foreign lecturers in Trento, and the institution of some courses which are completely in English.
It is thus in a high quality environment that the didactic and research activities of the University of Trento are carried on; activities which, at different levels, are offered to the local community in a continuous mutual dialogue. On one side the University educates the young professionals demanded by the job market, on the other side it counts on local enterprises to offer students opportunities for interesting and fruitful internship experiences. The enterprises find in the University good opportunities for scientific consultancies and for technological transfer as well as a support for the selection of qualified personnel.
