Egide

Égide is a non-profit organisation with a personnel of 200. For 45 years, it has been managing French government international mobility programmes involving visits to France by foreign scholarship holders and guests, and visits abroad for French scholarship holders and experts. In addition, Égide offers its specialist know-how to other organisations involved in similar mobility operations. As France's biggest international mobility organisation (by volume of operations), Égide makes a major contribution to the international interchange of knowledge and understanding. Égide manages finance for international visits and expert assignments on behalf of
public and private organizations in France and worldwide, through around 800 contracts with clients including research laboratories, universities, colleges, companies, national governments, the European Union, government departments and local authorities. Égide's biggest client is the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
